57/43% shiraz/mataro. There’s a real refinement to this, an elegance of pitch that is utterly charming. It's medium in weight and packed with flavour. Shot through with wild red and black berries, cherries, anise, turned earth and violet floral notes, the impact of whole bunches adds spice and complexing tannins, which are pithy, sandy and natural of feel. This is made for early to mid-term consumption, but that’s no detriment to its class and character.
