Put this on the dinner table, not in the cellar. Though it’ll hang out well for a few years, this is made to enjoy now. The dark fruit, the spices, the earthy fragrance and the whiff of autumn plus red licorice are enticing. A fuller body, refreshing acidity and decent tannins are all part of the appeal.

Rich, fragrant aromas are dominated by cherry and dark berry fruits complemented by a touch of spice and underlying French oak. The long, silky palate has a lovely soft and velvety texture, with powerful flavours of dark fruits and a finely poised finish.
