A portion (10%) was wild fermented in seasoned French barriques, left on lees for 4 months. A bright green gold, this is simply bursting with intense blackcurrant leaf, citrus and succulent herbs while the equally energetic palate is gently textured, flavoursome and refreshing. A textbook example of cool-climate sauvignon blanc and just the ticket for seafood and salads this summer.

This is a fantastic new release that is wonderfully textural and typifies the Bellarine. Perfect on its own or with food, this wine displays abundant tropical fruits (paw paw, guava and passionfruit, gooseberry), green notes and a persistent acidic finish.

A touch of oak is added to this Sauvignon Blanc to lend welcome character and a complexity not always seen in this variety - yet it retains its trademark freshness and zing.
