Terrazas de los Andes Grand Malbec is a bold yet refined expression of Argentina’s flagship variety, crafted from high-altitude vineyards in Mendoza. Winemaker Gonzalo Carrasco carefully selects fruit from the estate’s best parcels in Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley, where vineyards sit between 1,000 and 1,500 meters above sea level. This altitude delivers warm days and cool nights, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly while retaining vibrant acidity and complex aromatics.

Deep purple in color, this Malbec immediately impresses with intense aromas of blackberry, plum, and blueberry, intertwined with violet, cocoa, and a touch of baking spice from careful oak aging. The palate is rich and layered, offering lush dark fruit flavors balanced by silky tannins and refreshing acidity. Hints of dark chocolate, licorice, and graphite add depth, while a subtle mineral streak reflects the vineyard’s Andean terroir.
