A 50/50 blend of Barossa and Eden Valley fruit this year from a total of seven old-vine vineyards. Black cherry, blackberry and dark plum fruits of impressive purity and richness. The fruit is etched with spice, panforte, olive tapenade, licorice, dark chocolate and smoked meats. The oak comes across as a little more percussive here compared to Tim's other wines, but it settles nicely into the fruit on the palate, finishing long and strong with an array of fine-grained tannin and spice.

In the glass, it presents a deep garnet color with vibrant aromas of blackberry, plum, and dark chocolate, accented by hints of black pepper and vanilla. The palate is rich and full-bodied, featuring layers of ripe dark fruit, fine-grained tannins, and well-integrated oak, leading to a long, velvety finish. Perfect for pairing with roasted meats, grilled steaks, or aged cheddar.
