2022 Tscharke Stone Well Shiraz, Barossa Valley

Tscharke Stone Well Shiraz from Barossa Valley is a bold and expressive single-vineyard Shiraz crafted by Tscharke Wines, a family-owned winery known for its dedication to organic and biodynamic practices. Sourced from the Stone Well subregion, which is prized for its deep clay soils and warm climate, this Shiraz captures the power and depth characteristic of Barossa Valley’s terroir. Under the guidance of winemaker Damien Tscharke, the Stone Well Shiraz is hand-harvested and fermented with a portion of whole bunches to bring additional structure and aromatics. The wine is then aged in a combination of new French oak and seasoned barrels, which lend subtle oak complexity while preserving the purity of the fruit.

In the glass, Tscharke Stone Well Shiraz reveals intense aromas of black cherry, plum, and dark chocolate, layered with hints of licorice, Asian spices, and earthy minerality.
