Notes of ripe greengage on the palate, a touch of peach. Plenty of volume, freshness and purity. A fine example of Petit Chablis, drinking well already. Fèvre produces its Petit Chablis from purchased grape

Assemblage made and ready for bottling soon. A very pretty pure lime and lemon colour. The nose has a delicious fruit driven quality with a little mineral tension behind. A drier finish which I for one welcome, with a little youthful bitterness. Drink from 2024-2025. Tasted: June 2023.

A ripe yet cool and airy nose combines notes of citrus and pear with enough Chablis character to be interesting. There is both a lovely sense of energy and detail to the relatively generously proportioned middleweight flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the bitter citrus-inflected and youthfully austere finale. This could use better depth but a few years of keeping should help address that.
