Always a different label each vintage, so most often hard to get the current bottle image. Anyway, they always look nice, though I think the one here is from the the 2019 release. Never mind. What’s in bottle is great.
Lime leaf, flowering basil, lime and zest. It’s juicy, all lime/lemon, a grapefruity tang, chalky and quite ‘mineral’ with classic Polish Hill restraint and discreet power, aromatic and spicy, all lime and juicy crunch with a long and fine finish. Gooseberry and blackcurrant, even, and so much energy and grip. Likely the best wine from this producer I can recall. Excellent.

The expressive nose of lime and spring flowers leads you into the impressively concentrated and complex palate of this stunning Clare Valley dry riesling. So much wet stone minerality at the long, driving finish. Great aging potential. The best wine from this producer in many years! Drink or hold. Screw cap.

A Classic style from Wilson’s oldest vineyards in Polish Hill River, planted by John and Pat Wilson 40 years ago.Vines are small and spindly, cropping at minuscule yields due to the lack of available nutrient in the heavy clay soils.
100% handpicked fruit provides rich citrus flavours within a steely structure, tight with lots of minerality, as you expect from this area. Clare Valley Winemakers Wine of Provernance trophy (2014) is the latest accolade in a long line of awards given to this wine proving both it's pedigree and age worthiness for those who have the patience.
Aromas of straw and minerally, slaty, straw-like characters. The palate is tense and taut, reserved and nervy, with refinement and intensity, precision and length.
