A more rustic offering this vintage, still very good and so, so aromatic. Enticing. There’s a core of gorgeous dark fruit, plentiful spices, cedary sweet oak, licorice, plus more complexing charcuterie characters. Full bodied with supple and stretchy tannins, and wood tannins, too, so there’s a slight grip and pucker on the finish, yet juiciness throughout. There’s enough complexity for a nod at ageing, yet plenty of vibrancy for a nod to your mate to pour you another glass.

Fermented in small batches and aged in a mix of older French oak barrels, the winemaking focuses on retaining freshness while layering in texture and spice.
