This is said every year ... juicy and free flowing as ever, with ample fruit and intensity, more in the red berry/cherry spectrum. Just perfect pouring Pinot… except there is NEVER enough.
Fast becoming one of the must-have pinot noirs. Rare as hens teeth. The Timo Mayer Bloody Hills Pinot Noir is deep, brooding and complex. Reveals itself in the glass, quite slowly but is worth the wait. Silky soft tannins give way to black cherry and spiced fruit. Hints of blueberry and raspberry. Very moreish..unfortunately very little. Get what you can.
Light cherry red, sweet strawberry, and raspberry fruit on the nose. A lot more savoury on the palate with fresh leaf and herbal notes behind the very precise bright and juicy fruit. Good length, juicy and fun.
