Deep ruby, purple reflections, subtle ochre rim. With a hint of nougat, ripe black cherries, a hint of cassis, attractive bouquet. Juicy, elegant, finely fruity, ripe, firm tannins, spicy touch, dark minerality, salty aftertaste, lingers long, good ageing potential.

From the windswept Río Negro Valley in Patagonia, this Malbec shows a cooler, more savoury expression of Argentina that feels worlds away from Mendoza opulence. Bodega Noemia farms old ungrafted vines planted in the 1930s, rooted in sandy alluvial soils that naturally limit vigour and concentrate flavour. The Patagonian climate is defined by constant wind, intense sunlight and very cold nights, preserving acidity and aromatic lift. A Lisa is the estate’s more approachable bottling, but it carries the same precision and terroir focus as their flagship wines.
Winemaking is minimal and thoughtful. Fermentation is tuned to protect freshness and perfume, with gentle extraction building fine tannin rather than density. Oak is used sparingly so the vineyard character remains clear. The result is a Malbec that feels energetic and transparent rather than heavy.
Deep ruby with violet flashes, the aromas open with red cherry, plum and blackberry layered with violet, herbs and a faint earthy spice. The palate is medium bodied and silky, with dark and red fruit wrapped in fine tannins and bright acidity. Flavours of berry and savoury mineral tones run long through a clean, refreshing finish that tightens with grip.
It pairs beautifully with grilled meats, roast vegetables, lamb and herb driven dishes. Drinking impressively now for its vibrancy, it will cellar comfortably for eight to ten years, developing earthy complexity.
