Blended from a range of clones and soil types, carefully selected from vineyards in Geelong & Regional Victoria, this wine reflects the diverse complexity of the varying aspects and soils of those sites.
The wine was fermented separately in smaller, open-top fermenters, with about 20 percent whole bunch. The ferments were then hand-plunged twice a day, to maximise the extraction of tannins and colour.
The result – A bright crimson pinot that is equal-parts easy-drinking and complex. The palate presents bright fresh summer berries and aromatic spices bound with toasty oak. A fantastic red to have on its own, or perfectly paired with grilled salmon or roast chicken.
