The vineyards stretch across the sun drenched hills of southern Sicily, where abundant sunshine, cooling sea breezes and well drained soils allow Nero d'Avola to ripen beautifully while retaining freshness and balance. The colour is a deep ruby red with youthful purple highlights. Aromas of ripe black cherry, plum and wild blackberry are layered with liquorice, sweet spice, dried herbs and a hint of dark chocolate.
