What an enticing wine, charming its way through from nose to palate. It’s fragrant with red roses, violets, cracked pepper and all manner of red fruits from raspberries to plums. It comes in at medium bodied, just, with a juiciness and tang matched to lithe tannins and a gentle finish. A lovely, lovely drink.

A vibrant bright, youthful red in the glass. Fragrant aromas of blueberry, cola, sweet spice, nutmeg and cedar. Fleshy, layered and mouth-filling. There’s a pure core of blue fruits and crunchy raspberry along with cedar and spice. Excellent weight, texture and mouth-feel in a very satisfying and complete wine 09 Jun 2023 Drink 2023–2033

Four Winds Shiraz is typical of the Canberra region. It is soft and elegant, with bright red fruits and a cherry perfume, followed by notes of pepper and cloves. This wine is well paired with soft cheeses, duck and tomato based food, such as pastas and risottos.
Co-fermented with 4% Viognier, which has a dramatic affect on the flavour, stitching blazing red fruits through the darker line of black fruits of the shiraz and its spice and pepper. Oak is in olay, as are silky tenins.
