Ripe, luscious riesling supported by steely acidity that gives a strong sweet/sour focus and a thread of exquisite tension. Deliciously drinkable now but should mellow and integrate nicely with bottle age. This really is a special wine. 04 Oct 2023 Drink 2023–2033

#of 21 2023 Riesling from Marlborough

Enticing in the glass. Aromatic and open on the nose, with appealing notes of lime blossom and elderflower. The palate is pure and concentrated, with ripe citrus and white nectarine notes melding with subtle wildflower honey notes. The finish is fresh and clean; pure, vibrant lime acidity perfectly balancing the richness of the spätlese style and leads to lingering finish of crushed chalk and white flowers.
