A moving feast of varieties with 45/40 shiraz/sangiovese leading this vintage. A moreish style with spiced red berries and watermelon, both juice and crunch. Lots of zesty acidity and some fine, creamy, curd-like lees adding depth to the palate, although certainly a super-bright and tight acid line throughout.

Howard Park’s Miamup Rosé 2023 was awarded The Leslie Kemeny Memorial Perpetual Trophy for Best Rosé in a competition that saw more than 2,200 entries from winemakers across the country submit their wines. The Sydney Royal Wine show is noted as one of Australia’s most prestigious wine shows, having been established in 1826. 

The Howard Park Miamup Rosé 2023 is a shiraz dominant blend with fruit from Margaret River. A gentle and short extraction obtains only the lightest tinges of pinks from the red grapes in this blend. The wine is then infused with destemmed Shiraz berries during the fermentation, to give a gentle blush.

The aromas are bold, pronounced, and irresistible with a bouquet of white strawberry, watermelon. The aromas of the nose are mirrored and magnified on the palate resulting in an incredibly enjoyable wine with a captivating persistence of flavour.
