From the volcanic hills of Soave Classico in Veneto comes a white that highlights Garganega’s finesse and regional identity. Masi, best known for its heritage in Valpolicella and Amarone, has deep roots in the Veneto dating back to the eighteenth century under the Boscaini family. With Levarìe, the estate turns its attention to Soave’s historic Classico zone, where hillside vineyards planted on basalt and limestone soils deliver freshness, minerality and aromatic lift. The name Levarìe refers to ancient dry stone terraces that once shaped these slopes, a nod to the area’s long viticultural history.
Pale straw with green reflections, the aromatics are bright and inviting. White peach, pear and lemon blossom rise from the glass, layered with subtle almond and a gentle herbal nuance. A distinct mineral edge speaks of the volcanic soils that define Soave Classico.
On the palate it is dry, medium bodied and beautifully balanced. Orchard fruit and citrus glide across vibrant acidity, giving energy and precision. A soft textural roundness from Garganega adds depth, while the finish is clean and lightly saline with lingering notes of citrus peel and almond. It is Soave that balances freshness with quiet complexity.
Pair with grilled prawns, seafood risotto, fresh mozzarella with basil, roast chicken or lightly spiced Asian dishes. Best enjoyed over the next three to six years to capture its vitality, though it can develop subtle honeyed nuance with short term cellaring.
