Despite huge competition, it remains in the Top 25 of our annual Best Rosé Wines Awards! Perfumed, vibrant and smooth, this gourmet dry rosé produced in the heart of sunny Provence is bursting with fruit and freshness. After leaving London with their three children, Stephen and Jeany Cronk settled in Cotignac in Provence with the ambition of creating one of the best rosé wines in Provence. Mission accomplished with this classic rosé that charms at first touch with its intoxicating aromas reminiscent of wild strawberries, red cherries, pear and raspberries, intertwined with notes of lemon zest. The palate follows with precision and vivacity, enveloping the palate in a generous and particularly elegant material. A fresh, gourmet and harmonious rosé. Serve at 10 °C. Amazing with lobster bisque, mussels Provençal, gazpacho, fried calamari, orange-glazed roast ham, grilled shrimp, or with Niçoise salad.

Mirabeau was founded by Stephen and Jeany Cronk, a British couple who moved to Provence in 2009 to pursue their dream of producing world-class rosé. Their passion for the region and its wines, combined with their expertise and commitment to sustainable farming, has propelled Mirabeau into the ranks of top producers in Provence. The winery’s focus is on crafting wines that reflect the unique characteristics of the region, and they have quickly established themselves as pioneers in the premium rosé category.
The winemaking team at Mirabeau, led by winemaker and co-owner Stephen Cronk, works with a combination of tradition and modern techniques to produce wines that balance elegance, freshness, and complexity. Mirabeau’s commitment to sustainability and organic practices is integral to the winemaking process. The grapes for the Classic Rosé are sourced from carefully selected vineyards, where they are harvested early in the morning to preserve freshness and acidity. The wine is produced using modern vinification techniques, which focus on capturing the delicate fruit flavors and aromatic complexity of the grapes.
Mirabeau Classic Rosé is a blend of typical Provençal grape varieties, including Grenache, Cinsault, and Syrah. The wine is known for its pale pink color, which is characteristic of high-quality rosé from Provence, and its crisp, refreshing character. On the nose, it offers aromas of fresh red berries, citrus fruits, and subtle floral notes. The palate is dry and light-bodied, with bright acidity, flavors of strawberries and raspberries, and a clean, mineral finish. The wine is well-balanced and refreshing, making it an ideal choice for warm weather and light meals.
Mirabeau’s commitment to producing high-quality, food-friendly rosé wines is evident in the Classic Rosé, which has become a favorite among rosé enthusiasts around the world. Its versatility makes it a great pairing for a wide range of dishes, from seafood and salads to grilled meats and Provençal cuisine.
