The fruit is crushed to the press, settled and racked to tank for a cold ferment and lees ageing. Scented white flowers and lemony freshness with a cleansing palate. The fruit has good integrity, and the mid-palate has pleasing texture and breadth, plus soft, rounded edges. It is a harmonious, balanced drink with a beautiful limey core. Excellent value

Inspired by the first visit of a reigning monarch to Australia in 1954, this wine is the embodiment of the synergy achieved by combining the noble grape varietal Semillon and the Hunter Valley. Renowned for its unique ability to be enjoyed when fresh and admired when allowed to age gracefully.
The palest straw colour; there's a softness and approachability to this young semillon offering up easy-drinking appeal. Lavender bath salts, talcy with ultra-refreshing acidity, some sour pineapple, lemon blossom and kaffir lime leaves adding to a zesty, moreish wine. The requisite acidity will ensure it will develop more complexity in time.
