A cool, long vintage with average crops and abundant rainfall has resulted in wines of great purity and varietal flavour.
A traditional winemaking approach was used to produce this wine – handpicking and whole bunch pressing directly to 500 litre French oak puncheons for natural fermentation followed by a 9-month maturation on lees.
Striking intensity on palate entry with bright lemon and peach notes, with oyster shell and cashew nuts layered underneath.
