“A finely tuned offering working off a citrus theme with a fine combo of Meyer lemon, grapefruit and pith, some zest, too. The palate is refined and long with mouth-watering acidity, a little flinty with some lemon-lime and bitters tang and cedary oak superbly integrated. It’s savoury, moreish and there’s only one thing left to do – pour another glass.”

Mellow notes of spiced nectarines and preserved lemons mix with faint wafts of hazelnut and licorice. The composed palate mirrors the nose, everything falls into place gracefully. The weight builds across the palate, and so too the flavours. This is a pleasing style with a bright future. With age complexity will come. There's lovely fruit intensity that merits time in the cellar 07 Jul 2024 Drink 2024–2030

The fruit for this wine came from own ‘Estate’ and Callanan’s Road vineyards. The fruit was handpicked, whole bunch pressed, and the unclarified juice was fermented in a combination of new and seasoned French oak puncheons. It was stirred monthly in barrel, to build weight and complexity.
Lemon sherbet notes mingle with subtle barrel ferment characters to create a complex, powerful nose. Citrus vitality, texture, and lively acidity define the palate. It’s intensely flavoured with a long, bright finish.
