Peyrassol Château Peyrassol from Côtes de Provence is a beautifully balanced, elegant rosé that perfectly captures the spirit of the region—fresh, refined, and quietly luxurious. Produced at the historic Commanderie de Peyrassol estate, which dates back to the 1200s and was originally established by the Knights Templar, this cuvée sits just below the Clos Peyrassol in the range but offers incredible quality and finesse in its own right.
Crafted from a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, and a touch of Rolle (Vermentino), the fruit is grown on limestone and clay soils in the foothills of the Massif des Maures. Altitude and cooling Mediterranean breezes help maintain freshness, while meticulous vineyard work and gentle handling in the cellar ensure purity and precision. Fermentation is entirely in stainless steel to keep the wine crisp, clean and expressive.
In the glass, it’s a pale, luminous pink with aromas of wild strawberries, white peach, citrus zest and crushed flowers. The palate is dry and textured with flavours of raspberry, grapefruit, stone fruit and a touch of saline minerality that gives it a refreshing lift. It finishes long, delicate and super clean, with a whisper of Mediterranean herbs in the background.
Perfect for grilled prawns, Niçoise salad, goat cheese with herbs, or summer picnics that lean toward elegant rather than rustic. It’s an incredibly polished rosé that feels both effortless and refined.
