A fresh and bright chardonnay that leans into fruit purity, distinct minerality, freshness, light oak seasoning and a generally genial feel. It's an effortless drink and yet belies the quiet complexity found here, particularly in judicious woody spice, with the flinty and saline characters lending additional interest. Green apple, lime and just-ripe stone fruits are the underpinning. Very good drinking.

A light straw yellow in the glass. Complex aromas of flint and struck match combined with lively fresh white peach and citrus blossom. As the wine opens layers of nougat and cashew evolve. A striking core of zesty white peach fruit is immediately evident. The acid profile leaves the mouth watering for more whilst nougat, hazelnut and cashew flavours linger on the palate. Complex, balanced and moreish. Summary: Another fantastic release adding to the provenance of this wine. Our Lenswood site is proving to be exceptionally well suited to consistently producing chardonnay of a very high quality. Drink now and over next 5-8 years. Perfect with lemon and thyme roast chicken.
