2023 Printhie Topography Chardonnay, Orange

Chardonnay is the standout white wine variety in the Orange Region with a distinctive regional style. High elevation vineyards accentuate this style. 

This is a lightly oaked style of Chardonnay where the fruit stays front and centre. The French oak offers structure and depth, but the fresh zesty lemon and grapefruit characters shine. It has hints of matchstick flint and gentle tannins that carry flavour. The acidity will pair well with a creamy pasta dish, so why not try it with a Carbonara? Best enjoyed over the next 2-4 years.
