What makes this such a great drink is that it has all the requisite vibrant tropical fruit flavours but everything is dialled down, so it’s not overt. Lemons and limes douse the feijoa, passionfruit and pith, basil and pine-needle flavours, and there’s a smidge of Splice Pine Lime ice cream. It has texture, energy and finishes on an acid high.

Under the direction of acclaimed winemaker Glenn Goodall, the wine is predominantly fermented in stainless steel to preserve freshness, with a small portion barrel fermented on lees to add softness and depth.

The palate is clean and refreshing, showing citrus and tropical fruit flavours with a gently creamy texture from the Semillon component.
