Seven Springs Vineyard is one of Oregon's most celebrated Chardonnay sites, perched in the Eola Amity Hills where cool Pacific winds sweep through the Van Duzer Corridor. Its ancient volcanic soils and elevated position produce wines with remarkable freshness and mineral character. Founded by Chris and Kathryn Hermann, 00 Wines has earned a devoted following for its meticulous pressing techniques and beautifully expressive, Burgundian inspired Chardonnays.
Pale gold with delicate green reflections. White peach, Meyer lemon and crisp pear mingle with jasmine, toasted almond and a hint of flinty smoke. The 2024 vintage is beautifully concentrated, with silky texture, vibrant citrus acidity and a long, chalky finish. Elegant yet wonderfully complex, with the distinctive energy that makes Seven Springs such an exceptional vineyard.
Wonderful with roasted John Dory and fennel, delicate crab and ginger dumplings, or a golden cauliflower and hazelnut tart. A serious Oregon Chardonnay for lovers of fine white Burgundy.
Cellaring: Drink now to 2038+. Excellent ageing potential, with greater savoury complexity developing over the coming decade.
