Impeccably made, the 2024 Château La Tour Carnet reveals redcurrants, tobacco, spicy wood, and graphite aromatics. Medium-bodied and pure on the palate, it shows polished elegance, fine tannins, and a nicely balanced profile.

Well teased out dark berry fruits, careful construction, wash of cedar and campfire smoke, black tea and slate, a little leafy through the mid palate but a juicy finish. Harvest 24 September to 9 October. 35 hl/ha. 60% in oak of which 50% is new. They are reducing the percentage of first wine at La Tour Carnet, in reflection of how far and fast the vineyard footprint has grown with new acquisitions.
