Bright plum and red cherry, pleasurably sappy structure to the tannins, this is full of joy and gives a Margaux lift without having to wait too long. 30% new oak for ageing, 45hl/h yield, impressive quality and a success in the vintage.

Dried herbs, blackcurrant leaf, dark cherry scents. Clean and focussed, Juicy and plump, it retains a sense of leanness and sleekness, direct and focussed, tapering with the frame of the tannins towards a cool and salty finish but the initial fruit burst is lovely. Great acidity and bounce as well as seriousness. It needs to come together a bit more but it has both a sense of classicism and fun. Tasted twice.
