Clos Roussely is a small family domaine with deep roots in the region, now led by Vincent Roussely who has embraced organic and low intervention practices to highlight site transparency. Planted on flinty clay and limestone soils, this single vineyard cuvée delivers texture, minerality and understated intensity shaped by the Loire’s temperate climate.

A pale straw colour with bright green reflections shimmers in the glass. Aromas open with lime zest, green apple and white peach layered with gooseberry, fresh herbs and a gentle smoky flint note. There is a lovely sense of precision and lift, quietly complex rather than overtly aromatic.

The palate is dry and finely structured, delivering citrus and orchard fruit flavours framed by vibrant acidity and a firm mineral spine. Subtle nuances of grapefruit pith, wet stone and saline freshness build through the mid palate, leading to a long, clean finish that feels both energetic and composed.
