This came from five picks off several sites in the Vale, with an average vine age of 40 years; 10% saw seasoned oak. This is deliciously brisk and vivid, drawing through green and golden apples, lemon pith, sappy florals and a faint brush of soft herbs. The balance is keen, with flavour ripeness, just enough texture and thrilling drive. It’s quite the bargain.
