Playful and delightful, this extroverted, light-bodied Kabinett is brimming with white tree fruit, including peaches. Very juicy mid-palate, then very zesty and animating in the dangerously refreshing finish. Drink or hold. Screw cap.

Dr. H. Thanisch is one of the Mosel's most historic estates, with a winemaking legacy that stretches back centuries in the famous village of Bernkastel. The family has long been recognised for crafting Rieslings of elegance, precision and remarkable longevity, drawing on some of the region's most celebrated vineyard sites. Their wines perfectly capture the delicate balance of fruit, acidity and minerality that has made Mosel Riesling one of the world's most admired wine styles.
Bernkasteler Badstube is a historic vineyard overlooking the Mosel River, where steep slopes and blue Devonian slate soils provide ideal conditions for Riesling. The vineyard consistently produces wines with vibrant aromatics, fine mineral structure and exceptional balance. The 2024 vintage delivered fruit of outstanding purity, resulting in a Kabinett that combines freshness, delicacy and classic Mosel charm.
Pale straw with bright green highlights, the bouquet opens with aromas of lime blossom, green apple and white peach layered with notes of citrus zest, jasmine and wet slate. The palate is lively and beautifully poised, revealing flavours of lime, crunchy apple and ripe stone fruits. A gentle touch of sweetness is perfectly balanced by racy acidity, creating a wine that feels light, energetic and wonderfully refreshing. The finish is long and precise, carrying citrus and mineral notes with impressive persistence.
A superb match for fresh oysters, grilled prawns, spicy Thai dishes, pork schnitzel or a goat's cheese tart. It is equally delightful enjoyed on its own, showcasing the effortless drinkability and elegance that define great Mosel Kabinett.
