Kir-Yianni Paranga White from PGI Macedonia is a bright, aromatic white that captures the charm of northern Greece’s high-altitude vineyards. Crafted by one of Greece’s most respected producers, the Kir-Yianni estate, this wine is a fresh blend of Roditis and Malagousia, two native varieties that thrive in the cool, mountainous region of Amyndeon.
Roditis brings crisp acidity and citrus brightness, while Malagousia adds floral lift and juicy stone fruit. Grown in sandy, well-drained soils at elevations around 700 meters, the grapes ripen slowly and retain excellent natural freshness. Winemaking is clean and precise, with cool fermentation in stainless steel to preserve the purity of the aromatics and texture.
Bright pale lemon color. On the nose, the freshness of Roditis with aromas of green fruit and citrus is paired with the stone fruit -mainly peach- and the floral notes of Malagousia. Medium-bodied with fruity and crisp mouthfeel that leads to a refreshing finish.
Pair with grilled calamari, lemon chicken, Greek salad, or zucchini fritters with tzatziki. It’s also lovely with sushi, fresh goat cheese or a mezze platter. Best enjoyed young and vibrant, over the next 2 to 3 years.
