2024 Lamberti Pinot Grigio DOC, Veneto

Pale straw in colour with subtle green highlights, the wine opens with fresh aromas of pear, green apple and lemon zest, complemented by delicate floral notes and hints of white peach. The palate is clean and refreshing, offering flavours of crisp orchard fruits, citrus and a touch of melon. Light to medium bodied, it carries a lovely freshness through the palate, supported by bright acidity and a subtle mineral note that adds extra appeal. The finish is crisp, dry and satisfyingly refreshing.

A natural partner for grilled calamari, seafood pasta, fish and chips, chicken Caesar salad, zucchini fritters or a simple antipasto platter. It is equally enjoyable as an aperitif on a warm afternoon, delivering plenty of flavour without heaviness. Best enjoyed while young and vibrant over the next two to three years.
