Langmeil Bella Rouge Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé is a vibrant and characterful expression of Barossa Valley fruit, showcasing the elegance and freshness that Cabernet can bring to dry rosé. Langmeil is one of the Barossa’s most historic estates, with origins dating back to 1842, and is renowned for combining traditional winemaking with a bright, modern touch. Bella Rouge, meaning “beautiful red,” is crafted to highlight Cabernet Sauvignon’s lifted aromatics and fine structure in a crisp, refreshing style.

The fruit is sourced from Langmeil’s estate and select Barossa vineyards planted on deep red clay and sandy loam soils. The region’s warm, sun-drenched days are tempered by cool nights, preserving natural acidity and aromatic intensity. The grapes are harvested early to capture freshness and delicacy, then gently pressed and fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel. This approach allows the natural vibrancy of the fruit to shine, resulting in a pale, dry rosé that’s elegant rather than heavy.

In the glass, Bella Rouge shows a delicate pale salmon pink colour. Aromas of wild strawberries, redcurrants, pink grapefruit, and a hint of fresh herbs rise from the glass.
