Elegant and precise, with aromas of wild strawberries, pink nectarines and subtle citrus peel layered with delicate floral notes and a touch of crushed stones. The medium-bodied palate is sleek and finely textured, driven by bright acidity and highlighted by a clear mineral backbone. The finish is lingering and refreshing. Drink now or hold.

Miraval Rosé from Provence is one of the world’s most recognisable and consistently refined rosés, crafted from the limestone rich terraces of the Miraval estate in the village of Correns. Surrounded by olive groves, forest and sun drenched hillsides, the vineyards sit at higher elevation than much of Provence, giving the wine its trademark freshness, aromatic lift and beautifully pale colour. Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah and Rolle are harvested in the cool early morning, parcel by parcel, with the Miraval team vinifying each separately to preserve nuance. Gentle pressing, cool fermentation and a brief period on fine lees help shape a rosé that is delicate yet textural, elegant yet quietly expressive.

The aromatics are graceful and inviting. Wild strawberry, redcurrant and raspberry intertwine with white peach, melon and soft citrus blossom. Beneath the fruit lies a subtle mineral line, recalling wet stone, sea breeze and the chalky soils of the estate. As the wine opens, hints of rose petal, orange zest, pomegranate and a whisper of Mediterranean herbs add complexity without weight.

The palate moves with effortless precision. Bright red berries and citrus glide across a fine, lightly creamy texture enriched by time on lees. Flavours of strawberry, peach skin, grapefruit and a touch of watermelon unfold in cool, elegant layers. Fresh acidity keeps the wine crisp and vibrant, while a faint saline edge lends definition. The finish is long, dry and quietly sophisticated, echoing fruit, florals and chalky minerality. Its purity and finesse make it not only a benchmark for Provence, but one of the most versatile rosés in the world.

Perfect with grilled prawns, bouillabaisse, tomato and basil salads, goat cheese, charcuterie, roast chicken, sushi, mezze plates or simply enjoyed well chilled on warm evenings.
