Back to back brilliance for the Queen of Fiano, Corrina Wright is dancing on the balls of her feet with this variety. And if you know Corrina, she will probably be dancing on her 'carpets of Instagram' somewhere. The 2023 release was elite and here we go again with this 2024.
A terrific wine to sit back and consider, lemon juice, canned pear, quince, sea spray and a little saltiness peel off layers of interest with ease. A sheet of minerality is draped across the top with a fine rhythm of creaminess tapping its foot to the beat. A lemony tang offers the parting gift and seduces you to come back for more. And why not? This is quite delicious.

From two blocks on the Taranga vineyard (planted '04 and '12). Chilled for 24 hours before pressing; about 10% fermented in older French oak; bottled without fining. There’s a bit of coolness and spice to this, as well as a good amount of texture and fruitful flex. Tart golden apple, fennel frond, makrut lime, galangal, white pepper, some cut soft herbs. A succulent chewiness, a to-and-fro between pithiness and acidity, defines the palate, with subtle layers of textural complexity giving this considerable refinement.

Prepare your palate for a textural journey with this Fiano. One minute it’s all pine nuts and cashew, the next it’s kaffir lime and fresh basil with a touch of the tropics. Drink with anything spicy, or just to spice up your life.
Bright and zesty, cut lime drive blended with triple cream brie texture filling out the palate. Nuts, fresh nashi pear, sweet basil leaf continue the flavour journey, generous and mouthfilling.
When we took a punt on planting a crazy unknown variety in our vineyards, over 15 years ago now, we really weren’t too sure how it was all going to turn out. Over the years, we have learnt that there are a lot of things we love about Fiano: the way it grows and the wines it makes. Slowly but surely our Fiano built a following at our cellar door and in restaurants, then in bottle shops. Now it seems that you all really like Fiano - like, really like like it! So much so, that we keep running out and have had to plant a couple more blocks to keep up with demand. Thanks so much for coming on the journey with us, and we hope you keep enjoying Fiano into the future.
