Floral aromatic Chardonnay with creamy stonefruit flavours from a high elevation vineyard in cool, continental climate Orange, NSW
Lifted aromas of stone fruit, melon, nougat, sweet spice and white lily. Mouth-filling, creamy and textured, with a drive of peach, nectarine and nutty oak. Smart length and shape on the finish. Drink to 2032.

Pepper Tree is a Pokolbin based winery established in 1991. A family-owned business lead since 2002 by John Davis, its broad portfolio draws on fruit grown in four vineyards across Hunter Valley and Orange in NSW, and Wrattonbully and Coonawarra in South Australia.
The grapes for this Chardonnay were sourced from select blocks of Burgundian clones in the estate vineyards located at an elevation of 800 metres in the cool, continental climate Orange in NSW.
The fruit was handpicked and whole bunch pressed to stainless steel, settled overnight and racked into French oak puncheons for fermentation. The parcels were left to mature for 10-11 months before blending and preparation for bottling.
