Great value Margaret River Cabernet with rich, generous and fleshy fruit flavours
You're getting tremendous bang for your buck with this classy cabernet from the '24 vintage. The nose is unmistakably Margaret River. Lashings of blackcurrant, black olive, a little bay leaf, dark chocolate — it's all in there. But then the palate delivers with perhaps the most structured and classically defined expression of Margaret River cabernet yet under this label. It's rich, seamlessly integrated, with a lovely long finish. This is classy drinking at this price. Drink to 2033.

A very good expression of Margaret River cabernet sauvignon with black cherry, cassis and boysenberry, sea spray, dark chocolate and subtle spice. Generous and fleshy with soft tannins and enough freshness to keep the dark fruit moving. Finishes long with a slightly saline edge. Drink or hold.

Ringbolt is the Margaret River name within the Hill-Smith family whose contribution to Australian fine wine can also be seen in the wines of Tasmania’s Pirie, Dalrymple and Parish Vineyards, as well as Yalumba, Heggies Vineyard and Pewsey Vale in South Australia, to name but a few.
The Ringbolt wines are crafted by a team lead by winemaker Heather Fraser and draw on fruit grown in the world-famous Wilyabrup sub-region of northern Margaret River. While she has access to an impressive 186 hectares of vines across three sites, the estate grown fruit is occasionally complimented by purchases from neighbouring properties. This allows for impressive consistency across the wines at for Margaret River modest prices.
