Crafted by the Three Ponds team at their Broke Fordwich vineyard, it highlights how perfectly Fiano thrives in the Hunter’s warm days, cool nights, and ancient volcanic soils. The result is a wine of texture, energy, and pure drinkability — a southern Italian varietal reimagined with Hunter Valley finesse.

The grapes are sourced from low-yielding vines planted in red volcanic and sandy loam soils that enhance flavour intensity while maintaining natural acidity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel to preserve the grape’s aromatic lift, with a small portion aged on lees to add texture and roundness. The winemaking approach is minimal and precise, allowing the variety’s natural fruit and savoury character to shine.

In the glass it shows pale straw with green reflections. The aroma is bright and alluring, featuring pear, white peach and lemon zest layered with hints of almond, acacia blossom and a gentle savoury note. The palate is medium bodied and beautifully balanced, with juicy stone fruit, citrus and subtle nutty flavours supported by fresh acidity and a lightly waxy texture. The finish is crisp and refreshing with a clean mineral edge.
