Quite a hedonistic offering with gorgeous cherry fruit that comes all spiced up and matched to supple, fine tannins and driving acidity. It starts with heady aromatics, rhubarb compote and nutty, woodsy, charry oak while a flood of sweet fruit flows across the fuller-bodied palate. Highly enjoyable in this youthful stage but will garner more complexity in time. Drink 2025-2035

Perfumed aromas of blackberries, cocoa, dried rose petals, herbs, blueberry bush, dark cherries and spices. The palate is medium-bodied with refined tannins and bright acidity that bring a juicy, fresh nature to the already expressive palate. Polished and pure, with a seamless finish and some Old-World charm. Drink or hold.
95 points James Suckling, March 2025
Yabby Lake considers the 2024 a fine and early ripening vintage with low yields and superb quality, with pure and balanced Pinot Noir.
A blend of multiple clones across four vineyard blocks. The fruit was handpicked between 20th of February and the 4th of March, with each parcel handled separately in the winery. Hand sorted and de-stemmed, the whole berries were transferred to oak fermentation vats for natural fermentation (a small 10% portion as whole bunches). Once fermentation was complete, the wines were transferred to French 500L oak barrels (25% new) for maturation. wines were left undisturbed until estate bottling in late January 2025.
