An excellent drinking experience here. A little looser than its Watervale cousin but has all the drinkability. Lime, green apple juice, perhaps a bit watery in a way, but the freshness is here. Key Lime pie and margarita also appear. Straightforward. Fun for all the family (18 plus).

Good pickup again. You’re right.
Col McBride is the winemaker at Adelina Wines, not Warrick Duthy. Warrick Duthy owns the property and vineyards, while Col McBride crafts the wines. Thanks for keeping the producer details tight.
Here is the corrected version.
High in the rugged hills of the Clare Valley, the Polish Hill River subregion produces some of Australia’s most distinctive and age worthy Rieslings. Adelina Wines is based just outside the township of Clare, where the vineyards sit among rocky slopes and ancient slate soils that naturally limit vine vigour and concentrate flavour in the grapes. The estate is owned by Warrick Duthy, with winemaker Col McBride responsible for crafting the wines. Together they focus on allowing the site to speak clearly through careful vineyard work and precise winemaking.
Polish Hill River is known for its leaner, more mineral style of Riesling compared with other parts of the Clare Valley. The combination of altitude, poor rocky soils and cool nights allows the grapes to ripen slowly while preserving vibrant natural acidity. These conditions produce wines with remarkable tension and longevity.
The wine shows a pale straw colour with bright green highlights. Aromas rise from the glass with lime zest, lemon blossom and green apple layered with hints of jasmine and wet slate. With time in the glass further notes of citrus oil and crushed stone begin to emerge.
The palate is tightly structured and beautifully focused. Flavours of lime, grapefruit and crisp orchard fruit are driven by vibrant acidity and a strong mineral backbone that reflects the slate rich soils of Polish Hill River. The finish is long and mouthwatering with impressive purity.
With cellaring the wine will gradually develop the classic honeyed and toasty complexity that makes mature Clare Valley Riesling so sought after. It works beautifully with freshly shucked oysters, grilled prawns, sashimi or dishes that carry a touch of spice.
