Light, vivid coral pink. A spicy and weighty, textural rosé with excellent concentration of cranberry, sour cherry, sumac and floral flavours given complexity through measured use of maceration. The palate enters sleek before the fine-grained tannins emerge to delineate the crunchy flavours, leading to a long and lingering cherry finish. Not at all in the modern mould, this off-dry, well-balanced and flavoursome rosé will deliver delicious drinking in the coming year. Drink 2025–2027.

Amisfield's Rosé is made from Pinot Noir grown specifically for this wine on their BioGro certified organic estate in the Pisa sub-region of Central Otago.
The 2025 season brought challenging conditions early, with a frost event in November affecting some blocks. While yields were reduced, Pinot Noir fared better than other varieties and the fruit that came through showed good concentration and clean aromatics. Fruit was cold soaked for approximately four hours to extract colour and delicate fruit character before pressing, then cool fermented with a selected aromatic yeast and held on fine lees before early bottling. The intention is to create a fresh and vibrant rose wine.
Pale salmon in colour and with a nose that is lifted and pretty; cranberry, watermelon, rose petal and a hint of spice. The palate is light and refreshing with bright red fruit, gentle creaminess and a clean, mineral finish. An easy and rewarding glass, equally good as an aperitif or at the table.
Drink while youg and fresh as an aperitif or with lighter flavours like spring rolls or maki sushi.
