2025 BK Wines Skin n Bones Savagnin, Lenswood

Working from the elevated slopes of Lenswood, Brendon and Kirstyn Keys embrace the variety’s naturally high acidity and savoury personality, crafting a wine that feels energetic, textural and just a little bit rebellious. Savagnin is still a rare sight in the Adelaide Hills, yet the cool climate, long ripening season and mineral laced soils give it a natural home here. Minimal intervention in the cellar allows the fruit to speak clearly, with skin contact adding grip, intrigue and a slightly wild edge.

Cloudy pale gold with a hint of lemon skin tint, the wine bursts from the glass with aromas of green apple, preserved citrus and quince alongside ginger spice, chamomile and a distinctive alpine herb freshness.
