Coming from gravely soils susceptible to heat stress, I am happy to report smooth tannins, crunchy red fruit and ripe juicy plum aromas and flavours. The palate is warm and enveloping for the vintage, without hard or protruding tannins accentuated by the acidity. The 12 month ageing in one–third new oak will lend breadth to the wine.
