Bandol's steep, amphitheatre shaped vineyards enjoy cooling sea breezes and exceptional sun exposure, creating ideal conditions for Mourvèdre, the variety that forms the heart of Pibarnon's rosé. Unlike many lighter styles from Provence, this is a rosé built with structure, complexity and the ability to evolve in bottle. The 2025 vintage showcases the estate's unique terroir and meticulous attention to detail, resulting in a wine of remarkable character and finesse.

A luminous pale salmon pink colour introduces an expressive bouquet of white peach, wild strawberry and pink grapefruit, layered with notes of rose petal, blood orange and Mediterranean herbs. The palate is beautifully textured and precise, revealing flavours of red berries, citrus peel and ripe stone fruits supported by a distinctive mineral backbone. Mourvèdre contributes depth and savoury complexity, while vibrant acidity keeps the wine fresh and focused. The finish is long, dry and effortlessly elegant, lingering with hints of sea spray and spice.

This is rosé at its most gastronomic. Pair it with grilled lobster, tuna carpaccio, bouillabaisse, garlic prawns or a zucchini and herb tart.
