Great value, textural and full of flavour
Bargain buying here. The only reason anyone would not have a bottle of this in their fridge on a regular basis would be that they are yet to fall under the Roussanne spell. Try a few and that shouldn’t be a problem. After a lengthy and cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the decision was made to include only free run juice in the final wine. Malolactic fermentation was avoided. Straw/yellow in hue, the nose gives us aromas of stone fruits, nuts, peaches, dried herbs and rockmelons. A full flavoured style with excellent textural aspects, this really is fabulous value. The wine has balance and very good length and is an excellent example of what can be achieved with this variety in regions like McLaren Vale. It should provide pleasure for the next four to six years. Simply no excuse not to have a bottle in the fridge. Drink to 2032
