Structured and robust, this Pinot opens with lifted aromas of cranberries, dried flowers and an undercurrent of earthy spice. The textural palate has nice weight, with dense fruit leaning to darker cherries and the ripe tannins carrying the fruit to a nutty and saline finish.
Pour with lamb kofta dusted with warm, gentle Middle Eastern spice and roasted eggplant, drizzled with a tahini-garlic sauce and a sprinkling of sumac.

A bold and unapologetic statement in support of equality and the International Women’s Day, the fruit for this small release Pinot was sourced a single vineyard in Geelong’s Moorabool Valley.
About this producer
Orange (NSW) born Tash Webster is the founder and winemaker of the Moorabool Valley based Empire of Dirt. She first struck out on her own making wine in a partnership in 2017, but the business ran into issues, and she decided to go solo the following year. Empire of Dirt is part homage to the distinctive territory of the Geelong region and part reminder of tough times past.
