The aromatics are bright and detailed. Lime zest, mandarin, lemon blossom and green apple sit at the forefront, followed by white peach, jasmine and subtle notes of fresh herbs. Beneath the fruit lies a mineral undertone reminiscent of crushed stone, alpine air and cool river gravel. With time in the glass, hints of honeycomb, fennel seed and a gentle slatey note begin to emerge, adding quiet depth.

On the palate the wine is sleek, energetic and wonderfully balanced. A core of citrus and orchard fruit moves with precision across a fine, tensile frame, driven by electric acidity that keeps each sip refreshing and mouthwatering. Flavours of lime juice, green apple, white nectarine, lemon curd and subtle florals evolve alongside a clean mineral line that pulses through the wine. The sweetness, if present depending on the vintage, sits lightly and harmoniously, adding texture without interrupting the flow. The finish is long, pure and delicately chalk edged with lingering citrus and cool stone. Cellaring for five to eight years will introduce deeper honeyed, toasty and spicy nuances while maintaining its focused spine.
