2025 Girlan IGT Vigneti delle Dolomiti 448 Bianco, Alto Adige

Named after the altitude where the vineyards thrive, 448 Bianco captures the cool climate character and alpine freshness that define Alto Adige. Crafted by Cantina Girlan, one of the region's most respected cooperatives since 1923, this vibrant blend reflects the diversity of the Dolomites, where mineral rich soils, warm sunny days and crisp mountain nights produce white wines of exceptional purity, balance and drinkability.

The 2025 vintage delivered beautifully expressive fruit, with ideal growing conditions preserving freshness while encouraging excellent flavour development. Carefully selected grapes from vineyards across Alto Adige were gently handled to retain their aromatic intensity, resulting in a wine that is bright, energetic and unmistakably regional in character.

Pale straw with green tinged highlights, the bouquet is fragrant with aromas of white peach, pear and citrus blossom, complemented by lemon zest, green apple and delicate alpine herbs. The palate is lively and finely textured, combining crisp orchard fruit with refreshing acidity and a subtle mineral thread that carries through to a clean, elegant finish with lingering citrus notes.

A perfect match for seafood antipasti, grilled prawns, burrata with basil, lemon herb chicken or fresh asparagus risotto. Equally enjoyable as an aperitif or at the table, this is an effortlessly stylish northern Italian white.
