Juicy with tangy, long and textural citrus and orchard fruit flavours
A single vineyard in the Frankland River sub-region, located in the north of the Great Southern district of Western Australia provided the fruit for this Riesling. Only free run juice is used, and fermentation is in stainless steel tanks. Pale straw with flecks of green, there is a touch of passionfruit on the nose along with typical spice, citrus and floral notes. There is very good direction and intensity here, and a line of juicy acidity. Of medium length, this is a Riesling destined to impress over the next six to eight years. Drink to 2034.

A pale, bright and youthful wine, with aromas of brown lime, guava, mineral and lifted florals. Juicy, mouth-filling and pithy, with plenty of tangy citrus, just ripe nectarine and snappy acidity at play. Long and textured on the finish. Drink to 2036.

Winemaker James Kellie’s years as a contract winemaker for growers across the Great Southern region gave him unique insights into its diversity and potential. His love for the region led him to purchase a former client, Harewood Estate, in 2003 with his wife Careena. This commitment came with building a winery from scratch and a clear ambition: to make wines that reflect the full breadth of the Great Southern rather than a single corner of it.
This textured and structural Riesling is the result of free-run juice fermented long and cool in stainless steel. Floral and spicy, there’s pithy acidity to its lemon barley like vibrant stone orchard fruit flavours.
Enjoy as an aperitif in the afternoon sun or pair with kingfish ceviche or a Thai Green papaya salad with grilled king prawns and roasted peanuts.
